Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara is an Colombian actor who was raised and born in Barranquilla. Their mother, Margarita Vergara Davila De Vergara, is a housewife. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo is her father. He raises cattle for the meat business. She has five siblings. She went to an English/Spanish bilingual private high school. She then went on to pursue a degree in pre-dentistry. Then, Sofia was discovered by photographers while on the beach, and this led to various jobs in television and modeling. When she was 23, she worked as a runway model. In the United States, her travel show Fuera de serie, which she hosted between 1995 and 1998, gave her exposure.
